Innocent Erendira and Other Stories - Gregory Rabassa, Gabriel García Márquez I wish there was a star rating for 'didn't quite understand it'. I was doing okay until "Dialogue with the Mirror". From there on either Marquez was writing under the influence of hallucinogens or I lost the ability to comprehend written English. Is there a key to Marquez? Something that can help me understand what's going on?In "Eyes of a Blue Dog", for example: was the POV character actually the woman, narrating the story through the man in her dreams? His writing is very beautiful and the title story is vibrant and memorable.
