It turns out, after a lifetime of genre fiction, pop science and sequential art, I'm a girl who loves a book by a Nobel literature laureate. Who knew that the whimsy and grief of the human condition would be so engaging?I spent a lot of time realising I didn't understand a quarter of what was going on in this book. I think that's why I like it: it points to something more to know. If you want to know about the book, read Darcy's review. It does have spoilers.
