Crampton Hodnet - Barbara Pym The moral of the story could be that we're never as important as we imagine we are. Pym could be read very sadly. It's possible to interpret her work as cruelly exposing the triviality of life but Miss Morrow's quiet but irrepressible joy in life is too full hearted. It's such a funny book and Pym can paint character in the smallest exchange.
